Burger Dip Recipe

Makes 20 (1/4-cup) servings
Prep time: 5 minutes; Cook Time: 10 minutes; Total Time: 15 minutes
- 1 pound ground sirloin
- 1/2 pound sliced mushrooms
- 1 (16-ounce) jar salsa
- 1 (8-ounce) package shredded Mexican-blend cheese
- In a nonstick pot, cook the meat and mushrooms over medium heat for 5–7 minutes.
- When the meat is done, drain any excess fat.
- Add salsa and cheese, stirring over medium heat, until cheese is melted.
Serving Suggestion: You can serve this dip with chopped, raw vegetables, your favorite tortilla chips, low-carb chips. If you have any leftover dip, you can turn it into a delicious meat tossed with pasta or serve over rice.
